How to connect many television set to just one GOTV decoder
Its no longer a big deal to connect two tv set to one decoder has it has been made very simple by many decoder service providers . At times situation arise when you may need to use just but one decoder on various tv set either at home or in work place.
This is what you need to get started
- Length coaxial cable
- 2 f type connectors
- One f type female plug to tv pal male coxial connector.
This below image shows the 3 required materials mentioned above
Methods
Connect the two f type connectors to the ends of the coxial cable.
Connect the the f female plug to tv pal male coxial connectors to the the other side of the already inserted f connector.
Fix one one side of the f connector to the point labeled as rf out put port in the GOTV decoder.
What you will see in this photo is similar to what you will see.
Turn on both the the decoder
But it is also depending on the model of your tv set , also scan for the channels again.
The gotv channel should show as one of the channels at the end. Its just like another channel on your tv.
Now you have successfully completed this step then you can connect the 2 second television to the rca ports on the GOTV decoder. Now you have just freed one port on your tv.
What is power antenna?
Power antenna is just the antenna that you will connect that will be very active. An active antenna is just antenna that that highs the received electromagnetic waves. It does so by using circuit boards that is fed by power that comes from your power supply. These are common nowadays and you can notice one by checking the power supply of your house that is joined to the ariel coaxial cable that is in turn connected to the back of your television sets or decoder.
If you are not using this option then just jurn off this particular option using your remote controller.
