Check The Cables

Reboot the Sky Box
If you are having any issue with you stky box, rebooting should be among the first thing to do. To reboot your sky box, turn it off along side all peripherals connected to it. Remove it from power mains and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before hitting Sky on your Sky remote. If a green light displays, it means that your Sky box problems have been resolved successfully. Also if your Sky digital box is no longer responding to the remote control commands, switch off the mains of the digital box and the television. Confirm there are no lights in the digital box panel before turning on the mains again. To show that the sky box is on standby mode, a red light will appear showing that the box is in standby mode.
Check if the Sky Box won’t turn on as result of weak remote batteries. So, replace any weak battery and keep your remote control away from water. Reset sky digital box follow these steps:
- Switch off the mains
- Hit the left and right arrow buttons either side of the select button on your Sky remote
- While keeping the buttons pressed, turn on the box again
- Keep holding the buttons and within 60 seconds the blue/green circle lights on the box will come up
- Now, release the left and right arrow buttons and double press the select button.
- The blue/green circle lights will move anti-clockwise and the record/ play lights will start flashing on/off
