GOtv runs two completely different mobile apps, and most people download the wrong one. If you want to pay your subscription or clear an error code, you need MyGOtv. If you want to watch television on your phone, you need GOtv Stream. They are separate downloads and they do not do each other’s jobs.

How to set up GOtv Stream
Download GOtv Stream from your app store, then create a profile using your existing GOtv account details. There is no separate subscription and no additional fee.
What you can watch depends entirely on your package. A Smallie subscriber sees Smallie channels. A Supa+ subscriber sees Supa+ channels, including Premier League football. The app mirrors what you already pay for rather than unlocking anything extra.
Two limits are worth knowing. Streaming requires data or Wi-Fi, so it will consume your bundle. And the app is geo-blocked, meaning it only works inside countries where GOtv operates. It will not stream if you travel outside those territories.
Which App Do You Actually Need?

Whatever Happened to GOtv Mobile, Walka and Drifta?
If you arrived here searching for the Walka handheld television, or the Drifta and iDrifta decoders, there is a clear answer. Those devices are discontinued.
They ran on a broadcast standard called DVB-H, which sent television signals directly to portable devices over the air. The technology was abandoned worldwide, and GOtv retired the hardware alongside it. You cannot buy them, and existing units no longer receive a signal.
GOtv Stream replaced them entirely. Instead of a dedicated handheld receiver, you now watch on the phone you already own, using data rather than a broadcast signal.
