Why does my TV display no signal on TV ?
If your HDTV or Standard TV displays a “No Signal On TV” error message, it may be caused by any of the following issues:
- Check how many TV’s that is affected.
- If the fault is from TV, proceed to step two.
- If two or all TV’s are affected, proceed to step five.
- Make sure that your HDTV is on the same source/input as your Bell MTS Fibe TV service.
- Click the TV button on your Bell MTS Fibe TV remote control.
- Press the TV/Video button.
- Wait for 10 seconds.
- Repeat steps b and c continually to cycle through all the available source/inputs on your TV until the correct source/input is selected. (ie. HDMI 1, HDMI 2, Component 1, Component 2, etc.) On standard TV’s (non HDTV), now you may be left with 2 choices, TV or Video.
- If the source is gotten right from step two:
- Unplug the HDMI cable from your Bell MTS Fibe TV Set-top Box.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Plug the HDMI cable back in.
- Wait for the signal to initialize.
- Make sure all cables connected on the set-top box and your TV are on good mode.
- If the issue continues
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the MTS set-top box back in.
- Wait for the signal to search.
- If you are still noticing a problem:
- Ensure that all Ethernet and/or Coax cables are secured in a place.
- Remove the power from the Bell MTS box labeled 2Wire or Pace as well as the affected set-top boxes.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug the power back into the Bell MTS box labeled 2Wire or Pace.
- Wait for the broadband light to turn a solid green colour.
- Plug the power back into the affected set-top boxes.
- Wait for the signal to initialize.

If it is only one TV that is displaying the NO SIGNAL ON TV…
-Be sure that your TV is on the correct mode or input as your CABLE or SAT BOX.
-click on the TV button in your TV remote controller to switch your TV ON.
-click the INPUT button on your TV remote control.
-go through all the inputs on your TV.
-Do this until you are on the INPUT your CABLE or SAT BOX is plugged into.
-now you should then see the CABLE or SAT programming displaying on your TV.
HINT: Your TV will show all TV INPUTS as: HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, VGA, Component 1, Component 2, and so on.

2 – If you have your TV on the correct INPUT or SOURCE and you still see NO SIGNAL…
CABLE OR SAT BOX NEEDS RESET
-Remove the power cable from the Cable TV or SAT set top box.
-Unplugged for 2 to 3 minutes.
-Plug the power cable back to your Cable or SAT set top box.
-live it for some time for the Cable or SAT box to power up, search the signal, and allow it to initialize.
If you still see experience NO SIGNAL on your TV screen, try the next step below…
3 – If after resetting the Cable or SAT box and still sees the NO SIGNAL…
REMOVE THE CABLE GOING FROM THE TV TO YOUR CABLE OR SAT BOX
-unplug the HDMI cable or other cables out from your Cable TV or SAT set top box.
-live the cable unplugged for about 2 to 3 minutes.
-Plug the HDMI cable or other cables back in.
-Give it some time for the Cable or SAT box to receive the signal and initialize.
HINT: Make sure that all the cables that are connected to your Cable or SAT box and your TV set are firm, well working, and secured.

4 – If eventually all your TVs are affected with the NO SIGNAL screen…
BE SURE THAT THE COAX CABLES OR ETHERNET CABLES ARE ALL SECURE or CABLE OR SAT IS DOWN TEMPORARILY
-Try to check all the CABLE or SAT come into your home.
