Three teenagers have been confirmed dead after been crushed by a train  while taking selfies on a railway track in India, researchers suggests that India has the worst record for selfie-caused deaths.

The fourth boy struggled and to jumped to safety just before the accident in Panipat city in the state of Haryana.

“The teens were busy taking pictures and then they saw a train coming and decided to jumped to the second track without knowing that another train was coming on that track,” M. S. Dabas told AFP. Two of those killed were 19 years and one is 18 years old.
