Prerequisite: ensure that you must have turned on your TV and set-top box both and your set-top box has finished the boot process. You can now leave your set-top box on for 10-15 minutes before starting the process.

Step 1: On your set-top box remote, tap and hold the “Menu” button. Keep it held until you see a menu on your TV screen that is written “Installation Main Menu” or something not far from it.

Select the “System Setup” menu item.
Select the “System Setup” menu item.

Step 2: In this menu, choose the “System Setup” menu item and tap “OK”. This will bring you to “System Setup” menu screen.

Step 3: In the “System Setup” menu screen, choose the “Erase EPG” menu item and tap “OK”. The system will display a warning message on the screen like below.

Press “OK” on this warning screen.

Step 4: Click “OK” or any of the Color buttons on the remote as the message instructs. Once you tap “OK”, the system will display a message stating that the erasing is in progress like below.

Step 5: Once the process is complete, the system will go back to the “System Setup” menu screen automatically. Here, you will choose the menu item “Erase flash FS”.

Step 6: Once again, the system will request for confirmation like below. Confirm this on your screen to proceed.

Step 7: When Step 6 is completed, the box will automatically reboot. This rebooting may take several minutes to complete as the system will install the program guide and other data from the network. You will see a progress screen like this:
